Where did the Chattahoochee Adirondack chair come from?
 
The Chattahoochee Adirondack design came about when a Georgia carpenter named Dave Vidic decided to build a southern version of the Adirondack chair.  He made his chair look similar, but we are guessing he did not see the need to sit on a mountain hillside in the south.  Therefore, he made the chair sit in a more upright position with four normal straight legs rather than the long sloping back legs.  For this reason we call our four straight legged Adirondack chairs "Chattahoochee style Adirondack chairs".

This is our most popular Chattahoochee style Adirondack chair.  The difference between it and a traditional Adirondack chair is it has a more upright sitting position that is similar to an indoor living room chair.  An excellent chair for people who have a bad back or knees because it is easy to get in and out of.  We build the chair from your choice of California Redwood, Red Western Cedar or Mahogany woods.  The chair features a five slat back and sturdy four legged 2x6  foundation.  Summed up, this is a quality chair that has style, comfort and durability.

The "Fayette" is a sturdy compact Adirondack chair that has nice simple features.  The four legs are built with 2x6 boards that are then attached with two galvanized carriage bolts.  Built from your choice of California Redwood, Red Western Cedar, or Treated Pine woods.  This chair is an ideal choice for small confining areas.  The "Fayette" is easy to move around and easy to assemble.
