 "Tremont" Classic Adirondack Chair Extra Durable Adirondack Chair Perfect for Schools, Clubs, Resorts, Restaurants as well as Homes Are you looking for an extra-durable or extra-heavy Adirondack lawn chair that is made to handle rough and tough windy conditions? Or maybe you have an out of the way location where you want a nice relaxing chair, but a small lightweight chair would not be suitable? We have designed our Tremont Classic to handle such conditions. Everything about this chair is heavy-duty yet it is still stylish. We build it from your choice of durable premium Treated Yellow Pine which is known for its high structural and holding strength or Ipe which in our opinion is the most durable wood available for building outdoor chairs. The sturdy leg foundation is made with thick 2x8 boards and 2x6 boards (all 2x6 boards for Ipe chairs). The Treated Pine chair seat, back and arms are made with full 1" inch thick boards while the Ipe chair is 3/4" inch thick boards. If you think this chair is just made to be durable than you will be very pleased with the comfortable sloped seat, the scalloped front face board and tapered arms. Added bonus, this chair has a built-in anti-theft feature (i.e. weight) that will discourage most thieves as well as withstand strong winds.
