What is Polywood?
It is a High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) plastic made from recycled milk jug containers and other plastic packaging. This is not the same plastic outdoor furniture that you are use to seeing. This HDPE plastic is very similar to wood because it has a wood like gain, it can be cut like wood, drilled like wood, bolted and screwed down like wood yet it is 100% percent plastic.
Will a Polywood Adirondack Chair Last?
Remember this is not like the typical plastic outdoor chairs you are use to seeing. The difference is HDPE plastic will not chalk up, rot, crack, split or splinter and never needs to be painted or sealed. The legs will not bend on you nor will a little breeze blow it away as an average chair weighs 35 pounds. The hardware will not rust as it is all stainless steel.
